Don’t get us wrong, Magic Loop is magical, but it’s also practical, and surprisingly easy to learn. This technique is ideal for knitting a small circumference — think socks, hats, or sweater sleeve — in the round on one long circular needle. Magic Loop is a great option for those who don't enjoy working with double-pointed needles. Give it a try!
Learn how to:
• Cast on and join in the round without twisting
• Divide stitches
• Work several rounds, including ribbing
• Adapt instructions for patterns originally written for double pointed needles
Materials Needed
US 7 (4.5 mm) 40" circular needle
Smooth, light-colored worsted weight yarn
Stitch marker
Please purchase materials ahead of time and bring them with you to the workshop. Registration for a class indicates you have read and agree to the class policies.
